I recently found myself standing next to a bronze man reading a newspaper on Granada Blvd, only to realize he wasn’t real and I had been waiting for him to move for three minutes. Combine that with the “Expedition: Dinosaur” exhibit at MOAS, and you have a city that is 50% lifelike statues and 50% robotic T-Rexes. It’s whimsical, it’s weird, and it’s the perfect excuse to walk down Beach Street without feeling like you’re just “exercising.”
